I am gonna write something not related to Okinawa today. By looking at the title, Singaporeans should know roughly what I am going to say.
yes , the terrorist Selamat.... who really went selamat datang to maybe Indo or Afghan ...
Some questions really keep ringing in my mind...
How can a super KS police force let a detainee escape while he is in the toilet? That simply amazes me. If anyone goes to Changi hospital before, you may have seen policemen escorting prisoners for treatment. Normally the ratio of police to prisoners is around 3:1 (sometimes 4:1?) ... AND the prisoner are in handcuff and leg-cuff .... AND wearing orange uniform. With such super KS measures, I can safely say there is no way of escape.
So how did Mr Selamat run? AND this escape is especially bizarre when he is pai-kah.... AND when he is inside the detention compound? .... hmmmm
so far, minister has not explained on the escape process, saying let the "independent" panel do the work. MPs also never really push for an answer, maybe they worry about making someone paiseh ...
little explanation also on why the public was alerted few hrs after escape (explanation quoted in zaobao: 黄根成也说,马士沙拉末逃出拘留所时并未携带武器,也没有资料显示他会对公众安全造成威胁,因此没有立刻发布消息。) .... hmmm ... I wonder where the "no public threat" information come from, especially when Selamat is no longer in police custody? Who knows what he thinks? I guess as usual, the police "cares for our welfare" and does not want to create "public panic"...
hmmm ... I guess a well-informed news flash will not cause too much public panic (Singaporeans are not that panicky, ok) and maybe Selamat may already be in custody with tip-offs from the public.
These are just some of my annoying thoughts thinking aloud in this humble blog ...
Oh! 1 more thing, heng ah that this news come out after the youth Olympics voting. What will the Olympics council think if they know this before the voting starts? hmmm ...
